DR. SIROV MAHARAJ
Dr Maharaj is a highly experienced General Practitioner, with over 20 years of post graduate experience.
He has been a local GP in the Currambine area for over 12 Years. His broad range of training experience has set him up for a career in family medicine. He has Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practice, and enjoys working with his patients in a professional and caring manner. Dr Maharaj is also a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (New York, USA)
DR VIKAASH PATEL
Born and raised in the United Kingdom and emigrated permanently to Perth in 2017 with his wife. All his education and GP training was completed in the U.K. (Birmingham). Qualifications include both, Membership of the Royal College of GP's (MRCGP, London) and Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of GP's (FRACGP).
In the UK, he gained experience in Diabetes, Minor Surgery and training of future GPs. His other clinical interests include Chronic Disease Management, Men's Health, Women's Health, Paediatrics, Mental Health, Geriatric Medicine and Palliative Care. Outside of General Practice, he is passionate about Cricket, Golf and Travel.
As a GP, he looks forward to building warm and friendly professional relationships with his patients based on mutual trust and respect. He has a strong focus on excellent communications skills, a holistic approach and high-quality, patient centred care.
DR ANUGA PREMARATNE
Dr Anuga Premaratne
MBChB,MRCGP UK(2016), FRACGP
Dr Anuga completed her medical training and GP specialist training in Birmingham, UK. She has been working in Perth since 2017. She has clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gyanecology, Elderly Care Medicine, Emergency medicine and Paediatrics. She is a member of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr Anuga is skilled in all aspects of medicine but has a special interest in Chronic Disease Management, Women's Health, Antenatal and Postnatal Care.
Dr Anuga moved to Perth in 2017 with her husband and has 2 young children. She enjoys the warm weather and the family-friendly lifestyle that Perth offers.
Dr Shwe Yee Oo (Shelly)
Dr Oo has a diverse and extensive background in medicine, having worked across various specialties in Australian hospitals since 2018. Her experience includes internal medicine, emergency medicine, general surgery, psychiatry, paediatrics, and obstetrics/gynaecology. She later transitioned to general practice, completing her GP training in regional Western Australia under the Australian General Practice Training Program. Dr Oo is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr Oo has completed a FPAA national certificate in sexual and reproductive health and certificates in skin cancer medicine and dermoscopy.
She has an interest in a variety of specialties, particularly in:
- women’s health and sexual health
- chronic disease management and internal medicine
- Implanon insertion and removal
- Mirena removal
- Minor procedures including iron infusion and skin biopsy
- preventive health and evidence based medicine
